Manatal Setup

Manatal is a recruitment and applicant tracking platform.

The Microkeeper integration allows you to push hired candidates from Manatal directly into Microkeeper as new employees, triggering the onboarding process automatically.

This guide covers how to connect Manatal to Microkeeper and how to push hired candidates across as new employees.


Connecting Manatal to Microkeeper

  1. Create a Manatal account.
  2. In Manatal, add Microkeeper as an integration (Administration > Integrations).
  3. Copy the API key from Manatal.
  4. Add the API key to Microkeeper (Settings > Employees)

How to push candidates from Manatal to Microkeeper

When a candidate is successfully hired they need to be added to Microkeeper.

Follow these steps to push a hired candidate:

  1. Manatal: Jobs - Select the Job
  2. Manatal: Move candidate to the Hired pipe
  3. Manatal: On the Candidate, click the 3 Dots, then Share > Share to HR system
  4. A new employee will be created in Microkeeper. A Welcome SMS and email will be sent.
  5. Manatal: We then suggest moving those staff to the Onboarding pipe, so your team knows they have started their employee onboarding

Pushing multiple candidates from Manatal to Microkeeper

When bulk hiring is required or just a sanity check, it's possible to push a list of candidates to Microkeeper in one hit.

Follow these steps to send a list of candidates in one go:

  1. On the top of the pipe, click the 3 Dots, then Select All > Share > to HR system
  2. All selected candidates will be pushed to Microkeeper. A Welcome SMS and email will be sent.
  3. We then suggest moving those staff to the Onboarding pipe in Manatal, so your team knows they have started their employee onboarding

Mapping Standard and Custom Fields

In Manatal you can create Custom Fields.

If you give the Title of the field the exact same name that the field is called in Microkeeper the data will automatically be mapped.

For example

The if a next of kin field is added to Manatal with the exact name NOK Name that will map to Microkeepers when staff pushed



Warning: The field name must match correctly when created, changing the field name afterwards will not match.
