This guide will explain how to make a super payment from a completed payrun in Microkeeper using the beam super clearing house integration. Payday Super is handled from the payrun so the super contribution is tied to the same pay cycle, pay period, staff and payment date that were used to complete payroll.
Before you can process a super contribution through Microkeeper you will be required to sign up to Beam Super.
Navigate to Menu > Payroll > Super
Click the Setup Beam button to begin the sign up process.

On the Payday Super page:
Staff Options
For normal payrun processing, use All Staff unless you have a clear reason to process a smaller group.
The Super Contribution Report groups staff by super fund and shows the contribution data that will be sent to Beam.
Review employee names, member numbers, dates of birth, super fund details, contribution amounts, fund totals and the totals for all super funds.
Use Export CSV if you need an offline copy of the report.
If there are any missing or incorrect details during the validation on the payment, a red error box will appear with a list of all errors that must be fixed before super can be processed.
Once any errors have been amended, click the "Refresh" button to confirm.
Microkeeper then validates the contribution data with Beam.
If Beam returns any validation errors, this will be returned before you can process the super payment. Review the messages shown on screen and correct the linked employee, fund, business, or bank details.
If validation passes, Microkeeper will shhow the direct debit notice and the Pay Super button.
Click the Pay Super button to send the contribution to Beam for processing.
After submission, Microkeeper shows a success message and records the batch in the Process Log.
Open the Process Log tab to track the submitted batch.
The log will detail:
An Audit Report can be generated to view the data for any submitted contribution.
Click the three horizontal dots on any contribution in the list and select "View Audit Report".
Open the Members tab to review member number responses from super funds for staff in this payrun
The tab shows message, employee, USI , member number, and Microkeeper action.
Microkeeper may save returned member details automatically when the response matches the employee's current fund details. If the fund details no longer match, the member number may not be saved and show be reviewed manually.
Open the employee link to check or update Employer Super details.
Open Refunds/Skipped to review super amounts that were either refunded by a fund or skipped during processing.
The tab shows the message, Batch ID, employee, USI, member number, refund reference, and refund amount.
For refunded items, review the message and correct the underlying employee or fund details before reprocessing.
A super contribution can be cancelled on the Process Log page if the submission hasn't passed the "Waiting" status.
Navigate to Menu > Payroll > Super > Process Log
Click the three horizontal dots on any contribution in the list and select "Cancel Contribution".
